I love to save money. We have a family of 6 and it’s hard to save money. The medical/ dental insurance through my husband’s job only pays for him and the coverage for his family is very expensive. We have a plan through DentalPlans.com because it saves us money on dental appointments for me and 3 of my kids. I was a little discouraged at first because there is only one dentist in our town that accepts our specific plan through DentalPlans.com. But this dentist is awesome!!! We trust him and he and his staff treat my kids very well. We go in for our 6-month checkups and I know we are saving money compared to what we would pay at another dentist. My youngest child has gone to a pediatric dentist and we have paid over $200 for a cleaning and check up! At our dentist, with the DentalPlans.com plan, our cleaning and checkup is only $130 for the same service and great staff! The staff at the dental office is knowledgeable about the dental plan discounts and that lets me know that we are getting the full benefit of the plan. Plus, when I renew my plan membership, I get an additional discount and 3 months free. An extra 3 months free is a real treat! They make renewing the discount dental plan very easy by sending me a reminder email and setting up an automatic renewal so I don’t have to do anything. We will keep our dental plan with DentalPlans.com as long as it is available to us. I would recommend the plans at DentalPlans.com to anyone who doesn’t want to pay for expensive dental insurance and still get quality dental work done by quality dentists.

I would like to thank your company for steering me towards the right discount dental plan for my family. I previously had dental insurance coverage through my employer but when I made the decision to switch to part-time, I lost my dental insurance. With the discount dental plan I chose from DentalPlans.com, I could continue to go to the same dentist I have gone to for 20 years. My husband's dentist was not on the dental plan, so I hesitated with the decision to get family discount dental plan coverage. However, when I called his dentist, they told me that although his dentist was not a provider the cleanings with the hygienist would be discounted. Now, because of this discount dental plan, his cleanings are half the cost of what they used to be. Also, when we went to get glasses, I was able to use my Vision Plan and receive coverage for that. I have been very happy that I took the time to go online and find a discount dental plan. I would highly recommend your service to all my friends.

I could not have afforded the lower partial plate I now have or the root canal and crown without my affordable dental plan from DentalPlans.com. I do not have dental insurance and have had a broken tooth in the front of my mouth that showed even with the smallest smile for quite some time. I am not a proud person, but at the age of 61 I don't want to look like an old lady with missing teeth. Thanks to my discount dental plan this has all been fixed and even cleanings are easier to schedule knowing I am saving some money and my teeth. I do enjoy eating and expect to for a long time!

I am probably one of many who are very pleased with their DentalPlans.com plan. I liked it so well that I also signed my wife up for the plan.

When I first came joined the plan, I had just been advised by my dentist that all the extensive "gold work" that I had in my mouth over the past several decades looked absolutely like it would last my lifetime, which is what the dentist who applied the gold had told me.

However, he went on to tell me that I had some problems with the method used to fasten the gold work to my teeth. It appeared that the gold inlays and crowns had decay forming under the beautiful looking gold, and almost all the gold would have to be removed to correct the decay problem.

I was most unhappy with that news. Then I asked a silly question, "How much will it cost to repair the damage?"

It was, for me, an earth-shattering estimated fee of over $18,000.

I was so "shook up" by this news that I had two more dentists inspect my teeth, and, having come to the same conclusion, gave me similar estimates, some a bit higher and some a bit lower.

I just happened to be browsing the Internet when I saw the dental section.

That was when I came upon your website. They had named some of the dentists in my area, along with the discounted prices for the very work that I now knew was inevitable.

I called your representatives to verify the article I had read so that there was no misinterpretation of what I had read and understood.

I was advised by the dentist to replace the gold crowns, or in-lays as they acted up or caused me any distress. I now have replaced several of the faulty problem teeth. The most pleasant thing about this procedure is the fact that the cost is about one half of what I had been originally estimated. A large saving for my budget.

I highly recommend your plan and the "no questions asked " policy that goes along with the fine dental work.

Gloria P. - New York City, NY - February, 2009

I was about to open a lead role in a world-premiere opera at Michigan Opera Theatre when I realized that the ache in my jaw, bad taste in my mouth and headache meant I’d fractured a crown. I called DentalPlans.com to find out if there was an oral surgeon in Michigan who could fix me up quickly (I’m from NYC). They gave me the name of a surgeon who worked a quick miracle on my mouth at noon the next day. And the show went on! Thanks DentalPlans.com!

Russ H. - Boise, ID - February, 2009

My daughter is almost 4 years old. We recently had a change in benefits that left us without dental insurance. Shortly after our dental insurance dropped, we took our daughter in to see the dentist because we could see that she was having a problem with her teeth. We were not prepared to hear what the dentist was about to tell us. He said she needed major dental work done. She just about had a cavity on every tooth, so she needed to have some filings and crowns done.

Long story short, the estimated bill was about $5,000. After the initial shock, we looked for a second opinion and verified that that was truly the dental work she needed done. Turns out that amount was right and we were looking at some serious dental work that needed to be done to avoid long term repercussions for my daughter's teeth/mouth.

I did some checking and found out about DentalPlans.com. It at first seemed too good to be true. Quickly, I found out that my daughter's pediatric dentist participated in the plan. Then I did the numbers, line by line, on the quote that he gave us. I still hadn't signed up for the discount plan at this time. After I finished adding up the savings, the total came to about $800! It was unbelievable!

So I quickly registered, paid the fee to join my whole family and was on to saving a lot of money! Just on this one visit alone, I will save a lot of money. Not to mention the future visits that I will be saving money on throughout the rest of the 15 months of the period.

Thank you for helping my family save money and still have the opportunity to have the much needed dental care.

Jeanette H. - Pasco, WA - February, 2009

I am grateful for my dental care savings plan because it saves me a lot of money. It was easy to find online and easy to use when I went to the dentist.

Using the links through the website I was able to find the exact dentist I was hoping for. Then I selected the plan that worked best for me from the available ones listed. It was easy to pay for the plan and easy to print my card.

The first time I visited the dentist using my new dental plan I found that the receptionist was familiar with my plan and had no problems implementing it. She even went over how much I saved on each of the procedures by using the dental plan. It was obvious to me that I made the right decision in purchasing it. It more than paid for itself after just one visit.

Being a stay at home mom, it is important to me to find ways to help my family cut costs and keep things affordable. Every little bit helps this busy mama have one less thing to worry about.

Even though I have lots of things on my mind and filling my time, my dental care is still important to me, especially preventative care. I will definitely look into renewing my plan before it expires and will enjoy reaping the benefits of it!

Leonard F. - Henderson, NV - February, 2009

We were about to move from Florida to Nevada when I discovered that I had a cavity in one of my teeth. I visited a local dentist who explained to me that in order to fix my problem tooth he would have to remove and replace the bridge to which it was attached. He warned me that it would cost over $5,000. I persuaded him to give a temporary filling as we were moving and I would not have time to have the full treatment. He filled the cavity, but again warned me that was only temporary and that eventually I would have to have the bridge replaced. I thanked him and we made the move to Nevada, where we settled in Henderson. My temporary filling lasted for almost two years, but eventually it wore through and I was once again faced with the cavity. Remembering my dentist's warning about the cost, I put off having the tooth taken care of. It was annoying, having to dig out bits of food, but I was not feeling any pain. I had already signed up with DentalPlans.com, but had not used it. Finally the tooth began to disintergrate and I had no choice but to go to the dentist. I sat in the dentist's chair, after her examination and waited for the bad news. I feared the worst, because I just knew that prices must have gone up in two years. I was pleasantly surprised however, when she sat down with me and explained that under my plan, the cost would be just over $3,000 which she showed me on her payment chart was just about 50% at todays prices. The procedure took a while and I had to return to the dentist's twice over a three week period. The dentist was excellent and I felt little pain throughout the whole procedure. The temporary bridge she put in while the permamnent was being made fit perfectly and there was no discomfort whatsoever.

I am retired so it was not a small expense for me, but without my discount dental plan, I would have paid over $6,000. Thank you Careington and DentalPlans.com

Deidre M. - Daly City, CA - February, 2009

Prior to signing up with DentalPlans.com, I had not seen a dentist for 9 years. Once I started having severe pain in my tooth I knew it was inevitable for me to see a dentist and soon. My coworker suggested DentalPlans.com to me. I was so happy with a reasonable annual fee, and the customer service I received was truly outstanding. The representatives I spoke with were professional, friendly and very knowledgeable.

I ended up having the dental work I needed, a root canal, done last November. The office I visited was great and I was so pleased with the results.

I thank DentalPlans.com for allowing me to stop fearing trips to the dentist!

Carl D. - Saratoga Springs, NY - February, 2009

I paid only a little over $600 for a new cap. That's about 30% off my dentist's usual fee for the same work without a discount dental plan. And now I'm getting two cleanings a year since I get a discount on them as well.
